Hypercar and Legend Car Spec Table
The cars on this site span seven decades, from a 1955 racing coupe to modern 1,500 PS hypercars. This table puts their key figures side by side.
Top speed claims are tricky to compare. Some are electronically limited, some are one-way runs and some are two-way averages, so each figure says how it was measured.

One-way runs and two-way averages
Many official speed records require a car to run in both directions over the same stretch within a short time, and the record is the average. That cancels out any help from wind or a slight slope.
Koenigsegg's 447.19 km/h in 2017 was a two-way average. Bugatti's 490.484 km/h in 2019 was a single run in one direction, which is why it is described as a speed milestone rather than an official production car record.
